A bit 'of biography from the site of the Italian Uriah Heep .

David Garrick John born January 29, 1947 near Epping to Chingford and has a very early approach to the music, already a child, in fact, charmed everyone with a harmonious and powerful voice, able to tap notes to explode in very low tones high. He became semi-professional singer with his entry in The Stalkers and later, when professional - along with Mick Box - founded the Spice that would become the Uriah Heep . We are in 1970 and since that time, the biography of David - that already during his militancy with the Stalkers had changed his name to Byron - blends with the history of Heep.

In 1975, after having achieved success with the Heep, David Byron ago released his first solo album on the Bronze label. The album is the title Take No Prisoners and starring Mick Box and Lee Kerslake. Despite the success, those were difficult years for David that he began drinking heavily undermining his future career. Ken Hensley reports that David was the classic person who hated the wrong things but instead of fighting to try to change the situation, he preferred to drown everything in alcohol. This is the reason why David Byron from Uriah Heep was discharged at the end of the tour took place in Spain in July 1976. The images in 76 of the German Magazine went around the world to despair by the fans of Uriah Heep. Bron said that there was considerable divergence of views between Byron and the rest of the group and therefore, the primary interest of the Heep, singer would leave the group, because these divisions were - unfortunately - irreconcilable. The nature of these irreconcilable differences are not said anything, everything remains vague ... why do not we just have to speculate. Some sources close to the group say that the spark or further continued when John Wetton joined the Heep. The song included in Take No Prisoners Man full of yesterday seemed to be dedicated to Gary Thain but, ironically, would describe the subsequent years of life David. In any case one thing is peaceful for all, without David Byron Uriah Heep were never the same.
Determined to pursue his career alone David Clem Clempson recruited on guitar and drummer Geoff Britton who formed with him the Rough Diamond. They recorded a self-titled album, which unfortunately did not go very well.
With the collaboration of composer and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Boone and some session musicians - including the famous drummer Stuart Elliot - David recorded his second solo LP titled Baby Faced Killer not obtained, Unfortunately, no success commercial. David later joined by guitarist Robin George and formed lathe Byron Band. Accepted among the ranks of the Creole Records, he released two singles David WayCon Every Inch Of The B-side to the piece Routine and Never Say Die with the B-side Tired Eyes, before leaving in 1981 to his third solo album titled On The Rocks. Unfortunately, as with Rough Diamond, the success did not come. These disappointments
professional helped the worsening of his alcoholism that now mastered very little about David determining performance on the stage, as when he fell on stage at the Marquee because of an epileptic seizure. Epilepsy that his alcoholism did not contribute to a certain cure. Serves no purpose that the invitation addressed at that time Trevor Bolder and Mick Box of Uriah Heep for Reconstruction, David flatly refused. David Byron, abandoned by all, first by himself, was found dead at his home in Maidenhead February 28, 1985.
The media specialist is limitaroro coolly to give the news in a column that, at best, included a dozen lines. In fact, however, the "insiders" beginning with the great John Wetton, have always recognized David "Garrick" Byron the talent and the place, deservedly, has earned against all odds in the history of hard rock.
